She cites inspiration from her grandmother and their process of bonding inextricably linked to food and cooking but also cultural immersion. She began regaining fluency in Mandarin to expand upon that connection as well as to reach out to her father’s family. She is committed to language and cultural immersion as she works with elders on health literacy in Philadelphia and with children at Lango!
